‘Hey, I’m Rachel. My pronouns are she/her.
I’m a counsellor in training and a late-to-the-party queer person.
I love to find and create safe havens within otherwise intimidating spaces, such as sex parties, festivals or in-patient mental health settings. I have held space for people who are tripping, experiencing addiction and who are in crisis, and I have received support in similar settings.
I’m drawn to sex-positive spaces and designing them from a trauma-informed perspective. I have been to good kink spaces and bad ones and have found the difference to be how safe I felt. I believe people are most free to play, learn and let go when they are in a super-safe, consent-led and contained environment like the Festival of Sensuality aims to be.
You can catch me for long talks, mind-clearing walks, grounding meditation, breathwork or consenting (!) hugs. I’m here to discuss anything that feels weird or wonderful and to make sure you feel safe to explore yourself or to connect with others.’
